How Can I Stay Connected as I Age?

Spending more time alone can be common as we age. Loneliness and social isolation can affect both your mental and physical health. Loneliness and social isolation are different but related. Loneliness is the distressing feeling of being alone, while social isolation involves having few social contacts and people to interact with regularly. You can live alone without feeling lonely or socially isolated, and conversely, you can feel lonely even in the company of others.
