The Dementia Friendly Moultrie County Task Force is led by the East Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging as the Champion Agency. The purpose of the task force is to facilitate and encourage ongoing training, education, and support for the people of Moultrie County and Caregivers of persons living with dementia. This will be accomplished by improving Moultrie County member’s awareness of the capabilities and needs of persons living with dementia and their caregivers through training and education which improves communication skills, and provides information about disease progression, and tangible resources available through the development of a resource list.
