Dear DFA community leads,
As many of you will recall, twice a year, DFA collects information from dementia friendly communities on your efforts. We use this information to keep a pulse on the DFA network, improve our resources/technical assistance, and to provide updates to key partners and funders. Please note, if your community has two community leads, only one of you needs to respond to the survey.
In this survey, we’ve added a sub-section to gain input on membership fees for DFA communities. Dementia Friendly America, since launching in 2015, has been privately supported by philanthropic and national organizations that have allowed DFA to support the efforts of hundreds of dementia friendly community efforts. With DFA now in its 5th year, we are looking at our long-term sustainability model and are researching options to help ensure DFA has sufficient financial support moving forward. As we research a membership fee option, we want to hear from you to help guide an informed decision. We look forward to your insights that will help to shape DFA going forward.
