Living with dementia: Four tips for everyday tasks

As the symptoms of dementia get worse over time, even simple, everyday activities can become difficult. However, there are steps you can take to help manage these changes and make daily tasks easier. Consider these tips:

  • Write down to-do lists, appointments, and events in a notebook or calendar.
  • Set up automated bill payments or have a trusted person help manage your finances.
  • Manage your medications with a weekly pillbox or medication dispenser.
  • Ask your doctor to provide a care plan and write down care directions.
