Upcoming Virtual Event Offered by Region IV Area Agency on Aging

The Region IV Area Agency on Aging is hosting a virtual event to engage communities in conversation around Alzheimer’s and dementia, and we thought you may be interested in attending! Please find more information below:

Region IV Area Agency on Aging (RIV AAA) proudly presents “Fortune Cookies,” a virtual event aimed at engaging people impacted by a dementia diagnosis, family members, caregivers, local businesses and the broader community in conversations around the subject of dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. All community members are welcome to attend this event March 15, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm delivered via Zoom with a limited number of in-person tickets also available.

This event, part of RIV AAA’s expanded dementia programming for 2022, takes a unique approach to building awareness, sharing information, and inviting authentic community conversations. Audience members come together via Zoom, watch the play together, and then engage in a facilitated conversation followed by an opportunity to explore local resources with trained AAA Information and Access Specialists.
