Get Important Papers in Order

No one expects to get sick or have a disability but planning ahead can make a big difference. Here are a few tips to help you get started:

  • Put important papers and copies of legal documents in one place.
  • Tell a trusted family member or friend where to find important papers.
  • Give permission in advance for a doctor or lawyer to talk directly with a caregiver or loved ones as needed.
