Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center collaborated with community organizers, Seniors on the Move, Englewood’s Quality of Life Initiative, and the Barbara A. Sizemore Academy Camp to host a three-day COVID vaccine event (January 6, 27 and February 17) for Chicago Englewood residents of all ages.
All were extremely pleased with the success of the first two events, with 50 individuals receiving COVID vaccinations on the first day, January 6. The second event held on January 27, was even more amazing with 30 children and 39 adults receiving their COVID19 vaccinations.
All three events hosted by St. Barnabas the African located at 6550 S. Harvard in Chicago, IL, are scheduled from 1pm – 5pm to accommodate seniors during early afternoon hours and children at the end of the school day.
