Advancing Alzheimer’s and related dementias research: FY 2022 NIH bypass budget and progress report

Beginning in fiscal year (FY) 2015, each July NIH has submitted a “bypass budget” estimate for Alzheimer’s and related dementias research to Congress. The FY 2022 NIH bypass budget calls for researchers to be part of that expansion to help us meet the National Alzheimer’s Project Act goal of preventing or effectively treating for Alzheimer’s by 2025.

The bypass budget analyzes NIA research investments and progress against our research milestones for Alzheimer’s and related dementias. Our success depends on you, so be sure to give it a read and then apply for NIA grants! Read the full blog post.
