During these times of physical distancing, don’t forget your mask and keep 6 feet of distance from anyone you encounter. For other, non-COVID safety tips, NIA has put together videos and tip sheets to help older adults stay safe while exercising outdoors:

  • Did you get the bike out of the shed? Great idea for exercise! Before getting out and about on your bike, read these tips on how to be safe.
  • Too much heat can be risky for older adults and people with health problems. Be sure to check out our tips for exercising in hot weather.
Stay safe as you get moving!
