Resource Sharing: Check out this Link for Elder Law and Other Senior Service Resources

AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois is an advocacy group who works to empower older adults. Their goal is to assist and empower aging adults to live as independently as possible by providing resources ranging meals to transportation, to caregiver services, and Elder Law.

Here’s an excerpt from their website:

“Created by Congress to implement the Older Americans Act, Area Agencies on Aging coordinate a wide variety of services for persons age 60 and older. In 1974, the Illinois Department on Aging designated the Agency on Aging of Northeastern Illinois as the Area Agency on Aging for DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties. Over 681,000 older adults live in our agency’s eight-county service area.from chas a very interesting website for people looking for information and resources on Elder Law.”
