Choose Healthy Meals this Holiday Season

No matter how old you are, making healthy food choices is a smart thing to do. It’s important to choose foods and drinks that provide good nutritional value and help you stay healthy as you grow older. Make healthy choices this holiday season and during the coming year with these tips:

  • Stay hydrated—Drink plenty of liquids such as water, low-fat or fat-free milk, or 100% juice.
  • Know how much to eat—Learn to recognize the right portion sizes for your nutritional needs.
  • Vary your vegetables—Include a variety of different colored, flavored, and textured vegetables.
