Home and Community-based Service Agency Academic Partnership — A Research Engagement Workshop

Share Experiences.  Share Findings.  Facilitate Planning.

PURPOSE: Bringing agencies and researchers together with home care aides, clients, and informal caregivers who have engaged in a PCORI-funded research project to discuss lessons learned.
Topics for discussion include

  1. Education in the basic principles of doing research and healthy aging research data
  2. Training in interviewing clients using a health interview tool
  3. Collection of data using the tool to discover what clients think is important to communicate to their aides about their health
