Register Today for an Alzheimer’s Educational Series!

The SHARE Network is partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association to host its virtual Spring/Summer Alzheimer’s educational series. It is SHARE’s second time collaborating with the Alzheimer’s Association for this event.

The series starts on Thursday, June 8 at 10 a.m. with UChicago Medicine’s Elizabeth Murphy, who will review critical information on the Mediterranean Diet and the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet related to healthy aging. Participants will leave the presentation with specific ideas on incorporating elements of both into a generally healthy diet.

On Thursday, June 15, at 10 a.m., Jim Sullivan from the Alzheimer’s Association will discuss how caregivers can manage finances for their loved ones.

The series wraps up on Thursday, June 22 at 10 a.m. with SHARE Network’s Administrative Director, Renee Kroplewski, who will share essential community resources caregivers can utilize whether the person living with dementia lives at home, in a residential facility, or if there are care providers who visit a loved one’s home.
