Registration Open for DFSS Savvy Caregiver Six-Week Training Program

Spring is here and the Department of Family and Support Services – Senior Services Division invites you to join our Savvy CaregiverTM training program for family and friends who care for persons with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias. This program is six-weeks, meeting 2 hours per week online and supports caregivers by helping them to:

• Develop strategies and skills for your caregiving situation

• Find ways to reduce the effects of stress through planning and self-care

• Manage daily life and behaviors

• Effectively communicate with a person with dementia

Attached is our spring/summer 2022 calendar of series offerings and we would appreciate your support in sharing with your network of clients, colleagues, family members and friends.
