Recordings & Resources from Dementia Friends MA symposium, “Let’s Talk about Dementia and Culture”

Dear Friends,

I’m happy to share the recordings and resources from the symposium led by Dementia Friends Massachusetts/JF&CS, Let’s Talk About Dementia and Culture: How We Talk and Teach About Dementia in Cultural and Linguistic Communities. This symposium took place on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Visit this webpage to view recordings in English, Mandarin, Portuguese and Spanish, as well as other resources: Let’s Talk Symposium. There were two panel discussions, one of Dementia Friends educators working in five linguistic and cultural communities, and one of national advocates and researchers focused on addressing disparities related to dementia research, education and services. I’ve attached the list of dementia-related resources, focusing on language and cultural access, that was compiled before and during the event.

Please feel free to share these recordings and materials with your network! Thank you for your participation! !¡Gracias por su participación! Obrigado pela sua participação! !感谢您的参与!!Спасибо за ваше участие!

All best wishes,
