Become a Dementia Champion

Dementia Friends (www.dementiafriendsusa.org) has come to Illinois and you can help.

This grassroots initiative encourages anyone to learn about dementia and how they can help in the lives of people with dementia. A person becomes a Dementia Friend by either signing up online or by attending a presentation.

Champions attend an online meeting where they learn about the Initiative and can then offer their own Dementia Friends presentations. We are looking to have Champions throughout the state.

Our next Dementia Champions Zoom online meeting will be Thursday, May 3rd from 2:00-3:00.

Email Susan Frick, of the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center, to sign up for this meeting. (susan_frick@rush.edu)
