Ottawa

Dementia Friendly Ottawa is a community-led initiative uniting healthcare providers, senior living communities, local businesses, government and residents across the greater Ottawa area to create a more inclusive understanding and supportive environment for those living with dementia. Through education, public awareness campaigns, intergenerational programs, and business training, the initiative aims to reduce stigma, improve accessibility, and strengthen local connections. Guided by the voices of people living with dementia and their care partners, the program is building a sustainable network of support that celebrates inclusion. Compassion, and community engagement throughout Ottawa and the Starved Rock area.
