Why I Participate in Alzheimer’s Research: Keretha’s Story

When a person decides to participate in clinical research, they become an important part of scientific discovery. Their contribution may also help their family, community, and future generations lead healthier lives.
 
Keretha, a former Alzheimer’s caregiver, decided to participate in a clinical trial following her mother’s passing. She hopes to set an example for increased participation by the African American community, who have a higher risk for developing dementia.
