Mild cognitive impairment, or MCI, is a condition where people have more difficulty thinking and remembering compared to others their age. People with MCI are usually able to care for themselves and carry out normal daily activities. These symptoms aren’t as severe as the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.
A few signs of MCI may include:
- Losing things often
- Forgetting to go to important events or appointments
- Difficulty coming up with words
