Fast Forward Documentary – Debuting this Wednesday, March 24

We wanted to let you know about a new documentary, FAST-FORWARD, debuting this Wednesday, March 24 at 10pm ET/9pm CT on PBS

The John A. Hartford Foundation and Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation provided major funding for the film, which follows four millennials and their Baby Boomer parents through an ‘aging bootcamp’ that highlights the crucial role family conversations and planning play in aging successfully.

The film includes experiences such as use of the MIT AgeLab’s AGNES (Age Gain Now Empathy System) Suit and features commentary from experts in geriatrics, family caregiving and serious illness, including Christine RitchieRita ChoulaAdriana PerezEllen Goodman and Kate DeBartolo.

Narrated by Rosario Dawson, the film explores an intriguing question: “If you knew now what you’ll know then, would you change anything?”

Additionally, Next Avenue has produced courses and a digital resource kit designed to help viewers prepare their own aging plans. The courses range from assembling a personal care team to guidance on how to write an advanced care directive.
